Dragons Tail Events are excited to celebrate the launch of their new pole dance performance and events company, with a glittering pole dance cabaret show at Birmingham’s Black Box Theatre.
Featuring a line up of some of Birmingham’s best pole and exotic dancers, the Freaky Blinders Ball will be held in Saturday 22nd November. A ticket to the Ball is an invitation to step back in time to a 1920s themed theatre show, where the class and style of cabaret entertainment’s golden era is mixed with the bold and daring energy of modern pole dance. Guests on the night will be treated to a stunning evening of entertainment, showcasing a selection of different dance styles, from dynamic and dramatic, to silky and flowing, put together with a variety of music genres and beautiful outfits. Preferring to host their cabaret style shows in small theatres to create an intimate and fiery atmosphere, the dancers themselves come from a variety of professional backgrounds and specialise in different areas within the art form of pole dance, each presenting their own unique fusion of strength, tricks, choreography, musicality, and identity.
The audience are also invited to dress up to attend. The dress code is 1920s glitz and glamour… and prizes will be given for the best dressed audience members! Whether you are a seasoned pole dance spectator, or this is your first time ever taking in a pole dance performance, you are sure to be wowed by the dancers’ incredible talent and showmanship.
Pole dance is a much maligned and misunderstood sport, and the Dragon’s Tail Collective hope to redefine its image by bringing live performances to a wider audience. Admittance is limited to those over 18 – there will be no nudity but the themes are exotic in nature. Dragons Tail strives to provide an inclusive, safe and welcoming atmosphere, to all who wish to attend. Everybody is welcome to come to the Freaky Blinders Ball, as long as you are prepared for a good time!
