All about our flagship event!
The Hidden Dragons Cabaret is the flagship show from Dragons Tail Events. We have carefully curated the Hidden Dragons Cabaret to preserve the best elements from the rich history of cabaret entertainment, while mixing them with the bold and fresh energy that defines modern pole dance.
The shows run for approximately two hours, including a 20 minute interval. They take place in small, intimate theatre venues, as we believe the true art form of cabaret relies on close contact, shared atmosphere, and direct communication between the performers and the audience.
The host venue for the Hidden Dragons Cabaret in our home city of Birmingham is the Crescent Theatre. The Crescent is conveniently located at Brindley Place – right in Birmingham city centre. As an events venue and production company, they are a long established pillar of the Birmingham arts scene, having been founded over 100 years ago, and today they continue provide a stage to support local artists including the Dragons Tail Dancers.

How do I get there?
It is easiest to arrive by bus, train, or tram, as it’s only a short walk from New Street Station. For those driving, the nearest car park is Brindley Place Q-Park.
Is there disabled access?
Yes there is – our show takes places in the Ron Barber studio, located on floor -1 of the Crescent Theatre, accessible via a lift from the ground floor lobby.
What happens when we arrive?
The doors open one hour before the show starts, and our friendly front of house staff will greet you at the door and check your tickets. You may then go up the bar on the first floor to enjoy a drink before the show starts. We will call you in to the auditorium approximately 15 minutes before the show is due to start.
What does the show contain?
The programme contains around 12 acts of dance performance, mostly consisting of solo pole dancers, but also duos, pole straps, lollipop artists, chair dance, and maybe some other surprises!
Is there any nudity?
There is no nudity – however, skimpy outfits and adult themes will feature throughout the show, so admittance is strictly reserved for those over the age of 18. ID may be required on entry to the venue.
